David launches Northern Ireland’s biggest ‘sleep out’ event
David is a local celebrity ambassador for Action for Children in Northern Ireland and has supported the wonderful work of the charity for years. In particular he supports the Byte Night campaign which is Action for Children’s biggest annual fundraiser; a national ‘sleep-out’ event. The event sees hundreds of like minded people from the business arena give up their beds for one night to help change the lives of vulnerable young people. Byte Night works to support some of the 83,000 young people who are homeless in the UK every year through no fault of their own.
David was invited along to the launch of Byte Night 2017 last month to drum up support and publicity for the ‘sleep-out’ event taking place on 6th October at The Pavillon, Stormont, Belfast. David entertained the audience with his mind-blowing tricks and reinforced the importance of supporting initiatives like Byte Night.
Julie Harvey, Fundraiser at Action for Children said, “David was amazing at our Launch (as always) and really wowed all the guests. We really appreciate how you ‘get the event’ and what we’re trying to achieve. Thank you so much for your ongoing support of Byte Night.”
